With the concerns about the coronavirus(COVID-19), we want to assure you that we are doing everything possible to protect our patients and staff.
Any staff member or patient who is feeling unwell or thinks they may have been exposed is asked to stay home. We are screening patients as they enter office, on the phone, via text and email, if they have experienced any fever, shortness of breath and coughing, or recent travel.
Hand sanitizer is to be used by all persons entering the office and all magazines have been removed from the reception area.
As always, CDC, OSHA, and Connecticut State Dental Association requirements are followed. Staff members are diligent about hand washing. All clinical surfaces are wipes down with disinfectant or covered with a barrier. We are also taking these precautions in the non-clinical areas. Door knobs, countertops, pens, etc. are all disinfected after each patient or staff member uses them. Purell and tissues are provided for your use at the front desk.
It is important to Dr. Peters and his staff that our patients know they are our number one concern.
We realize this is a stressful time with a great deal of uncertainty. Please feel fee to speak to Dr. Peters or the staff if you have any questions.
